What we collect

Wrapper Mapper collects the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

  • Quiz answers: Your responses to our 8-question quiz (account type, investing style, portfolio size, etc.). This data is stored alongside your recommendation result so you can revisit it via a shareable link.
  • Email address: Only if you choose to opt in to our monitoring service. We store your email alongside your quiz answers so we can notify you if your recommendation changes.

What we don't collect

  • We do not collect your name, address, date of birth, or any other personal identification details.
  • We do not collect financial account numbers, login credentials, or payment information.
  • We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

How we use your data

  • Quiz answers: Used to generate your personalised recommendation. Stored in our database to enable shareable result links and monitoring.
  • Email address: Used solely to send you monitoring alerts when platform data changes in a way that affects your recommendation. We will not send you marketing emails, sell your email to third parties, or share it with the platforms we recommend.

Data storage

Your data is stored in a secure database on our hosting provider. Quiz results are retained indefinitely to support shareable links. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Third-party services

  • Anthropic Claude API: We send your quiz answers (not your email) to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a personalised recommendation explanation. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing.
  • Affiliate links: When you click an affiliate link, the platform may use cookies to track the referral. This is governed by the platform's own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for monitoring emails at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

Unsubscribing

Every monitoring email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing is immediate and permanent until you re-subscribe.
